It's the summer season so I wanted to show off some of the summer related / tan hks I've gotten so far. Even though hk is actually on the lower side of my sanrio character tierlist her tan plushies are some of my most favorite plushies TT_TT. I'm currently waiting on another one to arrive aaaa
I also got a ton of gotochi charms. I'm really cheap so I just wait until ones for less than 3USD / 450JPY pop up and I've managed to get quite a few so far for a good price.
Another item I got is a jewelry tin box that also plays music when you crank its handle. I'm currently using it to store some gotochi charms. The monkichi goods are what I thiink is a condiment bottle and a pillbox?
There's also a random cinna gba game, unfortunately the screen for mine is busted and I'm not sure if I can get it repaired (it's a childhood gba) and I might end up buying a new one. Also just realized looking at the pics that you can't see the really cute badtz-maru yo-yo I got T_T
Some other random sanrio related items I got. The piano actually dispenses memo sheets when you click on the rightmost keys.
Yuru-charas, can badges, and other plushes
My current yuru-chara plush charm collection! Plus some random non-mascot charms. In Japan it's common to create a mascot for a region, business, or even events (these mascots are called yuru-charas!) I'm currently working on a shrine page for yuru-charas; it'll mostly focus on yuru-charas for specific places or regions but I'll include other kinds too *_*
My current favorite yuru-charas are Sanomaru, the mascot for Sano City (he's the white puppy with the ramen bowl on his head), Heartora-chan, the mascot of the JP Red Cross Society, and Melon Kuma, the mascot of Yubari City in Hokkaido.
closeups
an assortment of random keychains, figures, etc. I've also started seriously collecting can badges a bit more! I've not settled on how to display them yet. I'm not that fond of cork boards so I might display my favorites on a sash similar to how girl scout badges are shown and just have it hung up somewhere? Not sure hmmm.
An assortment of random (mostl are vintage) plushies! The white lion is one of those plushies that has a rubber / hard face plate that I adore. It's Sekiguchi branded and so is the grinning plushie. The cat plush is of a mascot of an indoor theme park in Ikebukuro called NAMJATOWN.
Lastly the plush wearing a train conductor's hat is labeled MAGICAL -> BADGE (by a company called SPICE PROVISION?), it's part of a set of plushies and I'll try to do more research later since I'm a huge fans of these kind of vintage plushies.
oh and also got a bunch of ochaken keychains hehe
